This one-day course is developed for directors who wish to enhance
their comfort with financial discussions around the board table. This is
not a finance course for non-financial managers, or an accounting course
on financial statements. This is a course designed by directors, for
directors that focuses on linking financial decisions and approvals to
strategic oversight of their organization.

The ICDs new Crown Director Effectiveness program will help directors
of agencies, boards, commissions and corporations ("Crowns") of the
federal, provincial or municipal governments better understand and
navigate the unique challenges of governing within these environments.
Participants will gain insights into practical approaches to carrying
out their responsibilities as directors.
