Now in its twelfth year, the ICD Fellowship Awards has honoured 48 individuals who have exemplified good governance in Canada. The award is presented to directors nominated by their peers and chosen by a committee of peers. Recipients are given the honorary designation of F.ICD which is a nationally and internationally recognized designation for Directors.

The 2008 Fellowship Awards were conferred during a gala celebration that took place on May 28 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto where the Master of Ceremonies was Pamela Wallin.

Three of Canada's top business leaders, John Bragg O.C., LL.D, James Gray O.C., A.O.E., LL.D and Thomas O'Neill F.C.A., LL.D, were honoured with over 550 of Canada's business leaders in attendance.
