Building strong relationships is key to success, especially for those in leadership roles. With so much on the line and a constantly evolving landscape, it is critical for management to better comprehend what the board expects of them in order to harness the board's power.
 
The ICD-Rotman Board Dynamics Program (BDP) aims to set executives up for success by empowering them the act boldly, but strategically. Developed in partnership with Rotman, the BDP provides practical tools and proven approaches to establish a roadmap for building strong and productive relationships with the board.

Who Should Participate?

  • This course is for any member of the C-suite or those at the senior VP level, whose management role is to work with and through their board to achieve the organization's goals. Whether newly promoted or working with a new board, this program will help executives optimize their interactions, gain alignment and work more effectively with their Board. 

    This program is not intended for non-board-facing executives.

The ICD-Rotman Board Dynamics Program gives leaders in executive management roles the roadmap they need to optimize the dynamic between management and the board.

Format

This program includes two live, instructor-led online sessions, delivered over two consecutive days. Attendance at the live sessions is required for successful course completion. The BDP provides breakout group exercises, case studies, Q & A with instructors and other experts, and interactive discussions.
Participants will receive readings and other resources that must be reviewed independently in preparation for the live sessions.
