Presented by the Southwestern Ontario Chapter: Unprecedented events such as the 2008 financial collapse and the COVID-19 pandemic have underscored that good leadership is what societies in crisis need most – and it’s the board’s duty to play a leading role. However, until the “character deficit” in effective leadership is addressed, our ability to tackle the most serious issues is diminished and compromised.

To successfully steward organizations within an increasingly disruptive, challenging and complex world, boards need to look beyond the traditional skills matrix. Be inspired as we explore how each of us can “raise the bar” as leaders and why it’s mission critical for boards to embed character-based leadership within future board composition and foster this organizational culture.

Join us to hear from our expert panel who will share their insights and experience on formalizing the role of leader character at the board level.
