Board Resources

Over 700 boards across every sector of Canada’s economy have joined ICD.

These boards are able to draw on ICD’s extensive resources such as ICD BoardInfo, guidance through our toolkits and preferred rates for each board member to attend ICD Education courses.

Boards can also leverage the ICD Directors Register, a register of highly qualified ICD members ready to take on their next board challenge.

ICD BoardInfo Service

ICD BoardInfo is a complimentary and confidential research service, exclusively for members. The service supports ICD members with their board work by accessing comprehensive director and governance-related resources.

Toolkits

The ICD has created specific tools to assist directors with their board work. For example, we have developed a sample board diversity policy, sample language for director education proxy circular disclosure as well as templates for NFP and advisory boards.

Board Recruitment

Board member recruitment service that matches ICD members with board positions. Also, functions as a job board of available board positions for members to apply to directly.
