Attraction & Retention of Talent via a Meaningful Mental Health Culture

Presented by:  ICD BC Chapter, Okanagan Committee and the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce

If you want a good challenge to think differently about mental health in your organization, this is the presentation for you! Denis Trottier is often dropped in-front of CEO's, Directors and Board members to help them think differently about mental health.

At this unique Okanagan School of Business Speaker Series luncheon, Denis will help facilitate a fire-side chat discussion with the hope of inspiring action - with each member walking away with the tools they need to attain "A meaningful Mental Health Culture". Denis regularly teaches at the Ivey School of Business and in a recent presentation he highlighted that organizations will be left behind in attracting and maintaining talent if they are not more involved in the overall wellness of their teams. Denis will open with a video that highlights his own journey with mental health and will describe his career path from KPMG Partner to his current role as KPMG's first Chief Mental Health Officer. Laura Thurnheer, Associate Dean, Okanagan School of Business and ICD Okanagan Executive Member, will facilitate the fireside chat with Denis followed by plenty of time for questions.

Due to the relevance of this topic to all levels of the organization including board members, the Kelowna Chamber and Okanagan chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors have collaborated on hosting this event. It will be a great meeting of the minds and a chance to dialogue on this important and timely topic.
