There are 231 Provincial Agencies, Boards and Commissions (ABC’s) in Alberta with many more at the Federal and Municipal levels. These ABC’s do valuable public service work and provide meaningful opportunities for the Director community.
This engaging in-person panel discussion will delve into opportunities and challenges in public sector governance. Our seasoned panelists will bring valuable insights about appointments, accountability, non-financial measures of performance/effectiveness, government as a stakeholder, influence of politics and periodic dissolutions of boards.
