AI Governance and Board Oversight: Risks, Responsibilities, and Readiness
As artificial intelligence reshapes strategy, operations, and the workforce, boards are under increasing pressure to provide informed, forward-looking oversight. This session equips directors with a clear understanding of their fiduciary role in governing AI, the emerging ethical and reputational risks, and the implications for data privacy, cybersecurity, sovereignty and risk guardrails. We will also explore how AI is transforming organizational culture and workforce expectations, and what questions boards should be asking to ensure responsible adoption. Participants will leave with practical steps towards frameworks, oversight tools, and a clearer sense of board readiness in an AI-driven landscape.
