ICD GTA NFP Chair Peer Forum Season 2026-2027

ICD's GTA Chapter seeks to build a stronger NFP Community by strengthening Directors' governance capabilities and experience. In support of that goal, the GTA Chapter brings together senior NFP Board leaders to Chair Peer Groups. Through four sessions of candid, self-directed, and in-depth discussions, participants share experiences and discuss current issues impacting their Boards.

Program participants include those with experience as Chair, Past Chair, or those moving into the Chair's role. Board members assuming the Chair Role in the coming year(s) are especially encouraged to participate as a way to develop skills and knowledge in advance of assuming their new role.

The first of the four in-person sessions will focus on getting to know one another and determining the themes to address in the subsequent three sessions. Each participant will join a programming group to support the content and delivery of one session. Active participation by all attendees is expected in this program.

Each group meets from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on either Tuesday or Thursday, except for the first session, which begins 30 minutes earlier. Networking opportunities are available before and after each session until 6:00 PM.
