Leading in the era of transitions with Janie C. Béïque and Laurent Ferreira
ICD-Québec invites you to the opening evening of its 2026–2027 season. To launch this new season, we will welcome two of the most influential leaders of their generation: Janie C. Béïque, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, and Laurent Ferreira, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank of Canada.
Together, they will explore the tensions at the heart of contemporary leadership: how do we exercise sound judgment and stay the course in a world of accelerating disruption? How do CEOs navigate operational complexity, geopolitical pressures, the rise of artificial intelligence, growing inequalities, and the imperative to leave no one behind? And in this context of transformation, what role falls to the board of directors?
The conversation will be moderated by Marie-Josée Gagnon, Chair of ICD-Québec and Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Casacom.
