The Lifecycle of a Company (Kitchener)

Companies travel a typical path from early startup, through financing, growth, more financing, and an exit. The path can be as exciting as tortuous. David and Dennis will explain this lifecycle from the perspective of a board member and senior manager. While on this path, legal expressions may be daunting for many, and so, these will be explained with stories and anecdotes from their rich experiences.

Part 1: In the beginning…

This part of the presentation will focus on a company’s early days from startup through early-stage financing such as a “Friends, Family, and Fools” round to angel investors. Even at this stage (and perhaps, more than ever), good governance from seasoned board members and managers is needed.
