Lifecycle of a Company-Part 2: M&A and Exits (London)

Companies travel a typical path from early startup, through financing, growth, more financing, and an exit. The path can be as exciting as tortuous. David and Dennis will explain this lifecycle from the perspective of a board member and senior manager. While on this path, legal expressions may be daunting for many, and so, these will be explained with stories and anecdotes from their rich experiences.

Part 2: Mergers, Acquisitions, and Exits

Eventually, a company will want to acquire, merge, or exit. This second part of this two-part presentation will help directors and executives understand the M&A process by discussing the motivation to buy or sell, the duties of directors, the types of transactions, and key terms used during the process and in purchase agreements. Avoid that blank stare by knowing what is happening.
