Mr. Gladu fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Luc Bachand, who chose to step down after serving on the ICD Board for four years.
Linda Hohol, Chair, Institute of Corporate Directors, thanked Mr. Bachand for his commitment and the considerable contributions he made as a Director and Chair of the ICD’s Audit Committee.
“Luc has been a tremendous director serving on our Audit Committee,” Ms. Hohol said. “He will be missed.”
“As we say goodbye to Luc, we are pleased to welcome Jean Paul (JP) Gladu to our Board. JP is a highly respected Indigenous leader and, in this capacity, I look forward to having this fresh and necessary voice at the table.”

“We are pleased that 54 per cent of our board now identifies as either gender or other diversity, along with pan-Canadian representation, but we will not stop here,” said Rahul Bhardwaj, ICD President, CEO and Board member. “We will continue to strive for and maintain broad diversity on our Board.”
