CEO Perspectives on Board Communication and Relationship

The relationship between a CEO and the Board is critical to the overall governance and strategy of the organization. Even more so, it is the CEO and Chair communication and connectiveness that enables important Board linkage.

In our ICD sessions, we often focus on Board governance and responsibilities. In our December session we will explore the opposite direction – the CEO working with the Board. It is the combination of the Board working with the CEO and the CEO’s relationship with the Board that facilitates the strongest corporate outcomes.

These same Board / CEO relationship characteristics apply to all types of organizations – Public, Crown, Private, Not-for-Profit, and Charitable.

Join us on December 12th to hear both insights and challenges experienced by our two very experienced CEOs, Gregg Hanson, and Diane Gray. Together they have deep experience both at the CEO and Board level with several organizations and community initiatives.
