Seminar & Networking Session: Navigating an Ethical Swamp
This session will feature internationally recognized ethics and anti-bribery expert Alexandra Wrage, who has addressed governance issues in the recent documentaries “FIFA Uncovered” and “Queen of Crypto” and is featured in the upcoming documentary “Bribe, Inc.” Alexandra will discuss ethics in action, based on her experience as a member of the FIFA Independent Governance Committee. Shortly after her resignation from FIFA, the global governing body for soccer was raided by law enforcement and several key people were subsequently prosecuted.
Using the example of this very profitable “non-profit”, Alexandra will walk us through the high cost of poor leadership, including corruption, self-dealing, sexism and human rights abuses, while reinforcing the key role all directors have with proper governance and reputational risk protection.
Registration: 4:30 pm (PT)
Seminar: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm (PT)
Session End Time: 7:00 pm (PT)
