To Effectively Manage the S and G of your ESG Rankings and Indices

The proportion of assets managed in sustainable funds continues to increase, despite inflation, recession fears, and geopolitical tensions. Managing your ESG ranking becomes crucial to optimize access to capital and the cost of capital. While much emphasis is placed on the "E", what measures should leadership teams and boards focus on, and what actions should they take to improve their ESG rankings and indices?

Tania Saba, founder and holder of the BMO Chair in Diversity and Governance at the University of Montreal, will provide insights into the convergence of disclosure requirements and taxonomy of financial products, the two pillars on which rankings and indices rely. She will also address the commitments of over 2000 Canadian companies that have taken on the 50-30 challenge, benefiting from scientific support to target concrete and impactful actions to enhance their rankings.

This will be followed by a panel of experts in governance and investments sharing tangible examples of best practices and methods used by your investors to integrate this information into the assessment of your organization's risk-adjusted performance.

Join us for this essential discussion that will provide practical advice to strengthen your positioning in the ever-evolving ESG landscape!

Please note that this discussion will be held in French.
