Report on Business: Women Lead Here

CEO Speaker Series: “Women Lead Here” ~ ICD President and CEO, Rahul Bhardwaj was invited to participate in the inaugural Report on Business: Women Lead Here event. Along with four other senior leaders and influencers, the panellists shared their perspectives on where we are in terms of elevating women in the workplace and what needs to happen to further drive change.

Held on Friday, September 18, 2020 with almost 2,000 people in virtual attendance, the discussions were built around the findings of the Report on Business' industry-first assessment of Canada's largest public companies on diversity performance. The Women Lead Here list identifies the companies who are surpassing their peers on the metric of female representation in the C-suite and is available here.

For his session, Mr. Bhardwaj addressed the importance of moving from compliance to culture and what role board directors can play in achieving this pivot.
