Employees Working From Anywhere, Everywhere, All the Time

In our new operating environment, organizations must answer critical questions in choosing the best way for their employees to continue working effectively as the pandemic evolves and to thrive in the future.

As new modes of working are piloted and evaluated, there are multiple implications and complex considerations that boards must consider when overseeing the safety and efficiency of the workforce.  There are employee management considerations, compensation, tax, legal, onboarding and well-being risks associated with the work environment, all of which board members have governance oversight of.

Join the ICD, in collaboration with KPMG, as subject matter experts and senior board directors discuss the following questions, and why boards should consider them:

Work from anywhere:  What are the critical “pros” and “cons” of working from home, working from the office, and hybrid models, based on the organization and industry?

Work from everywhere: What are the implications of employees who choose to or are required to work from outside the cities and countries their organizations are based in?

Work all the time: What are the employee health and mental well-being challenges, as well as diversity and inclusion implications of these new ways of working?

Presented by KPMG’s Board Leadership Centre in association with ICD.
