The role that information technology (IT) plays in business today is more significant and more critical than ever before. When utilized effectively, technology offers a reliable foundation for efficiency, decreases risk, and drives growth. Misused IT can damage a firm and erode trust and confidence in IT.
Alarming failure rates in digital transformation plainly illustrate that many firms have yet to find an approach that effectively balances the relationship between IT and business to achieve lasting success.
Cracking the success code is necessary. No matter the cause—poor communication, a lack of cooperation, biased opinions, or resistance to change—we will identify the root of the problem and restore trust. Our hope is that by following these guidelines, board members will have a better understanding of project failure causes and how to effect positive change within the management teams they oversee.
