Economic Reconciliation: Where We Are, Where We Can Go and How to Get There

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada published 94 calls to action including #92 which calls on the corporate sector to adopt the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a reconciliation framework.

Some corporates have executed on call to action #92. Join us as we explore the various models being used by the corporate world to engage with Indigenous communities with an intention of arriving at a mutually beneficial economic arrangement. Our expert panellists will share their experiences and the pros and cons of the models being used to fulfill their role towards economic reconciliation.

As boards and executives have both the burden and the opportunity to adapt action #92, following the panelist discussion, the individual tables will discuss this theme and report to the larger audience the outcomes of their discussion.
