The ICD Director Mentorship Program empowers emerging directors by providing the guidance, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the boardroom. Through personalized mentorship from experienced board directors, participants can enhance their governance skills, build confidence, and connect with a supportive community committed to excellence in board leadership.
Mentees
Tailored for emerging directors with 3-5 years of board experience. Participants must commit at least 4 hours annually to this growth opportunity, setting clear goals and proactively engaging with their mentor(s) to deepen their governance knowledge and professional skills.
Mentors
An opportunity for experienced board directors with 10-15 years of board service to become mentors. Mentors are expected to dedicate at least 4 hours annually to nurture and guide directors seeking to hone their skills. Ideal mentors are leaders recognized for their governance expertise and commitment to building a supportive, open culture that nurtures directors building their boardroom expertise.
